Parents' Place Yarmouth Family Resource Centre Award


Open to full-time students who will be enrolled in any year of study of Early Childhood Education or Social Services at the Burridge campus.

  • Good academic standing


About the donor
Parents’ Place Family Resource Center began in 1993 and has become a much-valued part of the community. Their goal is to offer participants a place away from the routines of home; where participants, parents/caregivers and children can play and learn together. They provide a variety of interesting programs and have a well-stocked library on parenting and developmental issues. The staff and board members felt providing financial support yearly to a student in Early Childhood Education or Social Services is a way to give back to the community that has supported Parents’ Place for many years.
