VERB Interactive Women in Tech Award


Open to full or part-time students enrolled in year 1 of eligible programs at any campus where the eligible program(s) are offered.


Eligible programs include:

  • Applied Media and Communication Arts
  • Business Intelligence Analytics
  • Cyber Security
  • Digital Marketing
  • Graphic Design
  • IT Data Analytics
  • IT Database Administration
  • IT Generalist
  • IT Programming
  • IT Programming for Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • IT Systems Management and Security
  • IT Web Programming


Students must demonstrate

  • Financial need
  • Commitment and interest in program
  • Commitment to working in the technology sector in Nova Scotia
  • Good academic standing
  • Applicants must self-identify as female
