Most of his career was spent with I Matheson & Co, working locally and traveling the Maritimes for them. Hugh was consistent with helping everyone who needed it. After his passing, this community he served gathered to donate in his memory to inspire a new generation of welders who will carry on the values of commitment, hard work, and community.
