Cabot Cape Breton


Open to full-time students enrolled in any year of study of eligible programs at any campus where the eligible programs are offered.


Eligible programs include:

  • Baking & Pastry Arts
  • Business Administration
  • Culinary Management
  • Horticulture & Landscape Technology
  • Tourism Hospitality


Application assessment will consider

  • Commitment and interest in program and future career
  • Good academic standing
  • Applicants must have applied for a co-op placement with Cabot Cape Breton for the summer (co-op placements may vary based on program), OR have already completed a co-op or work placement with Cabot Cape Breton


Payment details

  • The value of the funding will vary between $1,500 – $2,500 and will be determined based on outcome of summer co-op
  • The funds will be issued in one installment following the summer co-op


Work integrated learning and/or post graduate work requirements

  • Recipients must complete a summer co-op work term
  • Recipients must commit to a minimum of one (1) season of employment with Cabot, to commence immediately following graduation from the program
