Dr. and Mrs. H.E. Christie Community Foundation Cost of Living Bursaries


Open to students who are enrolled in any year of study in any program at Cumberland campus who are experiencing financial hardship and who are going on an unpaid student work placement. Applications will be considered upon submission and recipients will be selected on an ongoing basis until funds have been depleted.


Students must demonstrate

  • Financial need
  • Good academic standing
  • This bursary is intended to support students with costs associated with going on an unpaid student work placement


About the donor
Dr. and Mrs. H.E. Christie Community Foundation generously provides financial support to students registered at NSCC campuses in Cumberland County. These Cost of Living Bursaries are intended to assist students in any program at these campuses in managing the costs of daily living, as well as specific bursaries offered to support the cost of student work placement programs
