About the donor
Throughout time, there have been numerous conflicts in the world that have led to the displacement of people which lead them to seek refugee status within other countries. We understand that these horrible occurrences are beyond devastating. At NSCC, we would like to provide support to those who come to Nova Scotia seeking safe haven and want to pursue a post-secondary education. Landing in a new country isn’t easy and finding meaningful work can be even harder. Through the generous support of NSCC Foundation donors to the Rapid Response Fund, we are offering five $4,000 bursaries to recent refugees. Our sincerest wish is that this provides a small piece of hope and a warm welcome to those that need it most during these difficult times.
