R.G. Sobey Leadership Award

Open to full-time students who will be enrolled in any year of study of any program at any campus. This award is renewable for students in multi-year programs (based on successful completion of first year in program and remaining in good academic standing).

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• Commitment to community involvement
• Academic merit

About the donor
Rob Sobey is a successful businessman, community leader and prominent philanthropist. Rob has served as Chair of the Nova Scotia Community College Board of Governors and as a Director on the NSCC Foundation Board. Most recently, Rob served as Chair of Make Way – The Campaign for NSCC. Among his many contributions to NSCC, Rob has created and funded the R.G. Sobey Leadership Award at NSCC.
