Energy Disabilities Leadership Award


Open to full and part-time students who will be enrolled in any year of study of any program at any campus.


Application assessment will consider

  • How student is addressing stigmas associated with Mental Health disabilities
  • Good academic standing
  • Self-identification: person with a mental health disability


About the award
The Energy Disabilities Leadership Award has been established to support students attending the Nova Scotia Community College, who face barriers caused or complicated by the misunderstanding, confusion and stigma associated with mental health disabilities.
