Dave Saxton Community Leadership Award

Open to full and part-time students enrolled in any year of study in any program at the Burridge Campus and Digby Learning Centre.

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• Leadership in the community through extra-curricular activities and/or volunteerism
• Good academic standing

About the award
This award was developed to honor and recognize the incredible contributions and commitment that Dave Saxton has made to NSCC over his 16+ years of volunteering. Dave is a huge champion of community-building, especially within his beloved community of Yarmouth. He is always there to cheer on and support Burridge Campus and its students. To thank him for his outstanding community leadership and his years of service on both the College’s Board of Governors and the Foundation’s Board of Directors, we have established this award in his name. This award is for any Burridge Campus student that goes above and beyond to advance community and give back so others can grow and reach their full potential.
