East Port Properties Sustainability Bursary

Open to full and part-time students enrolled in any year of study of the Architectural Engineering Technician, Drafting – Architectural or Energy Sustainability Engineering Technology programs at eligible campuses.

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• Career aspirations
• Commitment and interest in program
• Academic merit
• Applicants must maintain a minimum 75% average in their studies

About the donor
East Port Properties has been developing and managing sustainable buildings for over 30 years. We believe that the best innovations in sustainable real estate will come from those who want to have a full understanding of how buildings work. We developed the first seawater cooled building in North America in 1985, and have continued to look for sustainable ways to develop, design, finance and operate buildings since then. Our latest achievement is the first Zero Carbon Building Design and Performance certified industrial warehouse in Canada. We did it by monitoring, measuring and learning from the buildings we manage. By listening to what they tell us, we give our buildings a voice and we build on the principles they teach us.
