NSCC Campus Housing Application

Pictou Campus

Thank you for your interest in NSCC campus housing. We encourage you to review all campus housing information, including details on our location, services, room types, meal plans and associated costs before completing this application. Included in the application process are personal preference and lifestyle related questions which are used to ensure the best possible suitemate match (where necessary). Your answers will not exclude you from living in campus housing but rather, serve to support your placement. That is why NSCC Campus Housing strongly encourages the student intending to live in campus housing to fill out all questions personally.

This application is specifically for students who would like to live on campus at:

  • NSCC Pictou – Stellarton, NS

Campus Housing admission process
The NSCC Campus Housing admission process considers several factors when offering a space in campus housing and assigning rooms/suitemates. Please review details on the Apply for campus housing page. NSCC Campus Housing begins offering students a room type/space starting May 1 and will continue extending offers to those on our waitlist on a rolling basis until all available spaces have been confirmed. We accept applications from both new and returning students. In order for new students to submit an application to be considered for campus housing, they must first have confirmed their seat in a program for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Key Campus Housing dates and deadlines
Once open, campus housing applications will continue to be accepted until all spaces have been filled. The application will remain open and should vacancies become available, we will turn to our waitlist to make additional room offers. The following are some key dates/deadlines in the application process:

  • May 1, 2024 – First round offers are made by 4:30pm. All other applicants are added to a waitlist. If you’ve been accepted into campus housing, you’ll receive details on your space (i.e., type of room, payment requirements, etc) via email from campushousing@nscc.ca
  • Within 3 weeks of offer – Students will be asked to visit the student awards portal to accept their space (as offered), complete acknowledgement questions, upload confirmation of payment of the $500 deposit and upload a signed/initialed campus housing agreement. All are required in order to confirm your space in campus housing.
  • After May 1, 2024 – Any additional campus housing offers will continue on a rolling basis as spaces become available. NSCC Campus Housing reserves the right to shorten the offer acceptance period depending on the time of year.
  • August 2, 2024 – Payment of first term housing fees (less any deposit) is required.
