R.W.D. Mature Welding Student Motivation Award

Open to full and part-time students who will be enrolled in Welding – Diploma or Welding Inspection and Quality Control at any campus where the eligible programs are offered.

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• What it means to return to formal education after several years and enter the welding profession upon graduation
• Self-identification: mature student returning to school after several years away from formal education

About the award
The R.W.D. Mature Welding Student Motivation Award provides financial support to an individual who is returning to school after several years away from formal education. Welding was a passion for R.W.D. and this award was created to honour his memory and to support others that chose a similar path.
