Education Works Bursary


Open to full-time students enrolled in any certificate/diploma program at any campus. This bursary will provide 50% of a core program tuition cost as well as funding for books, health and dental benefits and all mandatory college fees for students from low income families. This award is renewable for those students enrolled in multi-year programs as long as eligibility requirements are met.


Application assessment will consider

  • Financial need
  • Career aspirations
  • Good academic standing (when assessing for renewal)
  • Requirement: student must be a Nova Scotia resident; be 20 years of age or younger on the day their program of study beings; and must be entering NSCC direct from a Nova Scotia high school (June 2024 graduate) or be entering NSCC from a Nova Scotia School for Adult Learning (NSSAL) program (completed in 2024)
