About the award
David Craib (Pictou Reginal Vocational School Class of 1976) was known and respected through the Maritimes for his contributions to the Electrical Industry. David’s colleagues admired his dedication to his trade, his depth and breadth of electrical knowledge, and determination to get the job done. There seemingly was no task too difficult or daunting for David to complete. David’s career although cut short by a battle with cancer was diverse and included the installation of some of the first self-serve gas stations in Nova Scotia, countless industrial projects for Air Canada Jazz and Michelin Tire, as well as a major contribution to Nova Scotia’s efforts to harness the power of the Bay of Fundy’s strongest tides in the world. With fond memories, Northumberland Electric and Klein Tools are honored to offer this award in David’s memory.
