About the donor
The 2020 class from the Irving Pathways to Shipbuilding is paying it forward. Through their newly established award – The Black Empowerment to Success Award, two African Nova Scotian students will have the opportunity to receive much-needed financial support during their program at Akerley Campus. This initiative was born out of the group’s own experience being supported while at NSCC, and their desire to give back in the same vein.
