Ernie and Delia Edwards Award in Culinary Excellence


Open to full-time students enrolled in any year of study of Culinary Management or Culinary Skills. To be considered eligible for this award, you must have a minimum 70% overall average.


Application assessment will consider

  • Financial need
  • Interest and ability in program of study
  • Involvement with NSCC and/or the community
  • Good academic standing
  • Minimum academic average of 70%
  • Preference: mature students with children


About the donor
Nova Scotia Community College gratefully acknowledges the contributions of The Edwards Family Charitable Foundation. The Foundation was created as a living tribute to the late Ernest B. and Delia (Bridget R.) Edwards and their family. Its purpose is to honour and perpetuate the genuine concern and sense of caring the Edwards family shares for the communities in which they lived and did business. Since its inception, the focus of the Foundation has been on the wellbeing of individuals with a special emphasis on children, the community, education, and innovative projects that promote social responsiveness.
