About the donor
Literacy Nova Scotia (LNS) is a non-profit organization that provides leadership to advance literacy by ensuring that all Nova Scotians have equal access to quality literacy, essential skills, and lifelong learning opportunities. LNS recognizes that many adults are upgrading their education and, when going back to school, they may have a hard time managing family responsibilities, travel, and other costs. LNS supports adult learners by offering two scholarships of $1,500 each to help with tuition, travel costs, and books. One of these scholarships will be awarded to a student attending the NSCC Truro Campus.
