Town of Amherst Award

Open to full and part-time students enrolled in any year of study in any program at any campus.

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• Good academic standing
• Requirement: resident of the town of Amherst for at least the past year

About the donor
The Town of Amherst Community Award was created to support residents of the Town of Amherst in their pursuit of a post-secondary education through the Nova Scotia Community College. The Town of Amherst recognizes that many students have financial barriers when pursuing their dreams of furthering their education. The Town created this award to help ease this burden.
