Adam Folk Memorial Scholarship
Open to full and part-time students enrolled in Plumbing at any campus where the eligible program is offered.
Application assessment will consider
- Financial need
- Commitment and interest in program
- How student plans on giving back to their community upon graduation
- Good academic standing
About the award
This award has been made possible by the generosity of the Adam Folk Memorial Endowment. Adam believed in giving back to one’s community and from plumber apprentice through to ownership of a major national company, he always believed in hard work, family and community. This scholarship has been established in honour of Adam Folk who was made an honorary life member of the Construction Association of Nova Scotia (CANS) in 1996. Read more about Adam’s legacy here.
This scholarship seeks to provide financial support to NSCC students enrolled in the plumbing program who embody Adam’s dedication and commitment to community.
