Growing the Clean Economy Award - Fall
Open to full and part-time students enrolled in any year of study of eligible programs at any campus where the eligible programs are offered.
Eligible programs include:
- Building Systems Technician (HVAC&R)
- Carpentry – Certificate
- Carpentry — Diploma
- Electrical – Industrial Maintenance and Controls
- Electrical Construction and Industrial
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Electrical Technician
- Environmental Engineering Technology – Water Resources
- Forest Geomatics and Biometrics Technology
- Oceans Technology
- Power Engineering Technology
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Geothermal
Application assessment will consider
- Financial need
- Career aspirations and commitment and interest in program
- Good academic standing
- Requirement: applicants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a refugee with protected person status
- Preference: self-identification as a member of one or more equity deserving groups
About the award
The Growing the Clean Economy Award was created to support students in select NSCC programs related to the clean energy sector. This award will support recipients who meet the eligibility requirements by providing financial support towards tuition, program expenses and cost of living relief.
