About the donor
Through out-migration, most rural communities in Nova Scotia are experiencing economic downturn and uncertain futures as they try to find the next generation of workers, entrepreneurs and business leaders. By supporting local students to live, learn and grow at home, community economic development is being positively impacted. The Trask Family Community Builder Award will directly support people from southwestern Nova Scotia that are looking to stay, learn and build their communities.
