Open to full-time students who will be enrolled in any year of study of eligible programs at any campus where the eligible programs are offered.

Eligible programs include

• CAD Technician – Mechanical
• Civil Engineering Technology
• Construction Project Management
• Electrical – Industrial Maintenance and Controls
• Electrical Construction and Industrial
• Electrical Engineering Technology
• Metal Fabrication
• Pipe Trades
• Plumbing
• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Geothermal
• Welding – Diploma

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• Good academic standing

About the award
The Guildfords Group of Companies Award has been established in support of the Construction Association of Nova Scotia’s (CANS) 150th Anniversary “Building Futures” Campaign. This campaign was launched in recognition of the value of education and the role of the construction sector in the growth of Nova Scotia’s economy.

The Guildfords Group of Companies Award will provide opportunities for individuals interested in the construction sector to access educational opportunities at NSCC and will help mitigate financial barriers or circumstances which might compromise the completion of their studies.
