Lillian Rodgers Memorial Bursary
Open to full-time students enrolled in year 2 of Cosmetology at any campus where the eligible program is offered. To be considered eligible for this award, you must be in good academic standing with an academic average of 70% by the end of this school year.

- An interest and ability to pursue a professional hairstyling career
- Confirmation of academic average of 70% by the end of this school year

About the award
Nova Scotia Community College gratefully acknowledges the generosity of the family and friends of Lillian Rodgers for establishing a memorial award in her memory. This award is designed to honour the memory of Lillian Rodgers and provide opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a career in professional hairstyling to access educational opportunities at the Nova Scotia Community College. This bursary is designed to mitigate financial barriers or circumstances which might compromise the completion of a student’s studies at NSCC.
