Wentzell Family Technology Award

Open to full and part-time students enrolled in any year of study in any program offered at the Lunenburg Campus.

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• How securing a laptop would enhance the student’s education
• Good academic standing
• Preference: applicants enrolled in trades or mechanical related programs

About the award
This award was established in memory of our father, Hector, who encouraged his children to “stay in school.” Since that time, two generations of the Wentzell family have earned several NSCC credentials, mainly from the Lunenburg Campus. In 2020, the delivery of many NSCC programs shifted to an off-campus online learning environment creating technology challenges for students. To remove that barrier and support future graduates, the Wentzell Family Technology Award was established. We are proud of our credentials and want other NSCC students to share that pride upon graduation.
