Chartwells Cost of Living Bursary

Open to students enrolled in any year of study in any program at eligible campuses who are experiencing financial hardship.

Eligible campuses include

• Ivany (All bursaries have been claimed)
• Institute of Technology (All bursaries have been claimed)
• Kingstec (Open for application)
• Truro (All bursaries have been claimed)

Application assessment will consider

• Financial need
• Good academic standing
• Preference will be given to applicants who were not previously selected for the Chartwells Cost of Living Bursary this academic year

Please note: ALL BURSARIES HAVE BEEN CLAIMED FOR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (IT) CAMPUS, IVANY CAMPUS AND TRURO CAMPUS FOR WINTER 2026. THIS BURSARY IS NOW ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN PROGRAMS AT KINGSTEC CAMPUS. Applications will be assessed as they are received and offers will be made until funds have been committed. Therefore, we reserve the right to close the application prior to the posted deadline if needed.

Chartwells offers dining services at campuses across Nova Scotia, and schools across Canada. Through this generous donation, Chartwells is helping NSCC students with the costs of everyday living so they can focus on their studies.
