About the donor
The Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories has launched CCIL Supports STEM Students, a multifaceted program designed to help young people further their education and advance their careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. CCIL and its members – the independent, private-sector testing laboratories across Canada – provide scholarships, co-op placements, summer jobs, and other opportunities for STEM students. The program also encourages these students to consider a career in the testing industry. The NSCC scholarship broadens CCIL’s reach across Canada as a national organization to provide financial aid to deserving students. The scholarship for Environmental Engineering Technology – Water Resources students fosters relationships with our Environmental and Life Science members who work hand in hand with water resource technicians in protecting our environment.
