The African Nova Scotian Music Association Award

Open to full and part-time students who will be enrolled in year 1 of Music Arts or Music Production and Engineering at any campus where the eligible programs are offered.

Application assessment will consider

• Experience in the music industry
• Career aspirations
• Commitment and interest in program
• Good academic standing
• Self-identification: Historically Indigenous Black / African Nova Scotian

About the donor
The African Nova Scotian Music Association (ANSMA) Award was created to help support African Nova Scotian individuals pursuing a career in the music industry.

ANSMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development, promotion and enrichment of African Nova Scotian Music.
