Capt. Earle Wagner Deck Officer Scholarship


Open to full and part-time students enrolled in any year of study of Marine Navigation Technology at the Strait Area campus.


Application assessment will consider

  • Financial need
  • Meaningful leadership and extra-curricular involvement in their school and their community
  • Commitment to continuous learning
  • Academic merit (minimum of 80% average in all NSCC courses or from previous post-secondary education)
  • Good academic standing
  • Primary Preference: Nova Scotia applicant who holds a Transport Canada certificate as Watchkeeping Mate or Senior Dock Officer up to and including a Master Mariners Certificate of Competency.
