Disability Support Professional Certificate Bursary - Full-time


Open to full-time students enrolled in year 1 of Disability Support Professional at the Kingstec and Sydney Waterfront campuses.


Application assessment will consider

  • Demonstration of intent to stay and work in the province in the disability support sector for one year upon graduation. Students will be required to complete a Return to Service Agreement with the province of Nova Scotia as part of the application process.
  • Requirement: students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents

Note: Bursaries will be offered on a first-come, first-qualified basis and will be split evenly amongst the Kingstec (25) and Sydney Waterfront (25) campuses


About the donor
The Nova Scotia Department of Opportunities and Social Development has provided this bursary funding to financially support students with expenses related to tuition, textbooks and associated fees.

    To be considered eligible for this bursary, you will be required to complete a Return to Service Agreement with the province of Nova Scotia. This means that you will be required to stay and work in the province, in the disability supports sector, for one year after your graduation from NSCC.
