The Momentum IT Group Sponsor-a-Student Opportunity

Open to full and part-time students enrolled in year 2 of IT Web Programming at the Institute of Technology (IT) campus.

Application assessment will consider

• Commitment and interest in program and future career
• Good academic standing

Payment details

• 50% ($1,000) of the funding will be issued upon selection
• The remaining 50% ($1,000) will be issued upon successful completion of a 5 week work term

Work integrated learning and/or post graduate work requirements

• Recipients must complete a 5 week work term. The terms and compensation for this work experience will be coordinated between the Sponsor and the recipient.

About the sponsor
Momentum IT Group is a small but lovely Halifax based company that has been developing web applications for over 20 years. We’re a dedicated team of 15 people that have primarily focused our collective efforts on the development and delivery of digital web-based training on behalf of our clients that range from national and regional organizations (we even have a bunch outside of Canada). Our company is a web application development and service provider.

The core competencies of Momentum Group are building dynamic database-driven tools for online and blended training, digital curriculum development, online assessments, and compliance management. At Momentum Group, our sole purpose is to design and support exceptional learning experiences. We believe that a LMS platform should be able to scale as an organization grows, but more importantly, it should be easy-to-use, fit with the current method of instruction, capture the essence of an organization’s culture and help ensure student success.
