About the award
This annual bursary award was created in memory of Ross Marshall, to financially support students enrolled in the Plumbing program at NSCC.

Ross Marshall was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was a 1965 NSCC graduate of Plumbing who continued lifelong learning, upgrading his certifications and education for over 40 years. He worked most of his career for Western Plumbing and Heating as a Plumber, then as an Estimator and also as a General Superintendent, but he was always a Plumber. Ross always stressed the importance of education to his children and grandchildren, many of whom are NSCC graduates. He was always proud to be a tradesman and believed a skilled trades workforce drives a successful economy.
